The tour is dependent on minimum numbers and we reserve the right to cancel the tour if we do not have sufficient numbers to operate. If this happens we will contact you 1-2 days in advance and discuss other options with you.
We have the right to alter the itinerary during peak demand or some private events come up at any winery we may be unable to visit as normal.
Booking a PUBLIC tour; we will ask for credit card security at the time of booking. Prices stated are per person, in Australian dollars and are subject to change. Payment is required in full, prior to the tour commencing. Visa, Master and EFT cards are accepted.
Cancellation of a PUBLIC tour;
– At least 3days before the tour you receive a 100% refund.
– At least 1 days before the tour date you receive 50% refund.
– “No shows” on the day is a late cancellation, No Refund.
– We will give you a full refund if any cancellation caused by us.
Booking a PRIVATE tour; requires credit card details and a non-refundable deposit of $300 to secure the booking. Full payment is required at least 14 days before the tour commences. All fares are in Australian dollars (AUD).
Cancellation a PRIVATE tours;
– At least 14days before the tour date, 100% refund of balance after deposit.
– Less than 7 days, 50% refund of balance after deposit.
– Reduce/increase numbers in group bookings must inform us at least 7 days before the tour date.
– “No Show” on the day, No Refund.
– We will give you a full refund if any cancellation caused by us.

Our tours are specifically designed for adults; but we can accommodate children on PRIVATE TOURS with some conditions. Only one child is allowed for two full paying adults. Our buses are equipped with ‘child’ restraints but you should prove a suitable booster seat.
Dietary requirements.
Winery restaurants have an Allergens Menu and can accommodate most dietary requests:
Vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, dairy free, fructose free and seafood / crustacean free.
Please advise when booking your tour.
Before pick up.
We needs to know your pick-up point – 24 hours prior to departure. There is NO REFUND for passengers who miss the bus because they changed their pick-up location and do not tell us or fail to get to the pick-up location at the scheduled departure time.
It is your responsibility to arrive on time at the meeting point of the tour. In the event that you are delayed, please contact us via email or phone. You may be advised to meet the tour at an alternative location. If you and your party are the only group on the Tour then your Tour guide will wait for you, however, the tour distance may be shortened. Your tour guide will attempt to SMS or call you should, you not arrive after 10 minutes of designated time.
2. After 15 – 20 minutes, if there is no communication and you have not arrived at the start time, the tour is deemed to have been cancelled by you. No refunds will be permitted in this instance.
3. The tour guide is not liable for tours that return later than the specified time. The tour guide will use their best efforts to ensure that departure and return times are met.
Yarra Valley Tour Guide additional information:
- To consume alcohol at the venues, passengers must be able to prove they are over 18 years of age.
- Yarra Valley Tour Guide reserves the right to use alternate (vehicles with extra capacity) and operators.
- Yarra Valley Tour Guide reserves the right to alter any part of the itinerary without notice.
- Passengers who soil or vomit in the bus will be charged a cleaning fee of $100 – $200. And or the costs of repairing replacing any damaged fixtures or fittings.
- Smoking is not permitted on our vehicles or inside winery buildings.
- Food are drinking is not allowed on the bus. Water is permitted
Fire Safety Procedures:
During the summer months, when days are rated as ‘Extreme’ or ‘Code Red’ by the CFA some wineries may choose to close the property to all visitors. The decision is usually made the day before, but can happen at short notice. Yarra Valley Tour Guide reserves the right to alter the itinerary if this occurs or cancel the tour in the event of extreme weather conditions and bush fires.
The consumption of alcohol is NOT permitted on the bus. Intoxicated and drunken behaviour will not be tolerated. Unruly passengers causing disturbance will be removed from the bus, no refunds will be given.
Bringing your own food or drink is not allowed in the wineries. Wineries have the right to refuse service and refuse admission.
Yarra Valley Tour Guide will not be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally, or otherwise, to people or property.

Yarra Valley Tour Guide recommends you have adequate traveller’s insurance that covers illness, delays, loss of property.
